I’m a teacher by profession. In the summer of 2014 I started out doing street photography. I had been drawn to the genre for a while, reading books from masters like, Alex Webb, Robert Frank, David Alan Harvey, the list could go on. But it wasn’t easy for me starting out taking photos of strangers in the streets.
It is a goal for me on a personal level, to actually have the nerve to execute those images that I see when I´m out in the streets. Things like, people who stand out in the crowd, beautiful light, shadows and contrasty scenes, because nothing beats the feeling you get when you succeed in pushing your boundaries. Street photography for me is also about communication with other people, both verbal and nonverbal, following instincts and intuition.
